Cover letter

In this cover letter, I want to talk about the problems I faced before writing this research paper. The biggest struggle I faced was trying to find a good topic to talk about but it was impossible to find one. In one of the news, I saw about gun violation problems around the USA in many different states. Some states ignore the problem and some states try to take stronger measures against gun violence. Which really made me interested in this topic but to be honest this wasn’t the topic I wanted to write on. Because as an immigrant from the country I am from I didn’t face or see problems like this happening around the USA. Guns were completely banned all around my country but the conflict was still there. With guns or without guns there is always gonna be conflict but with guns, the intensity is a lot higher. I know that the USA is also called, “The country of dreams where freedom is 100%” but this much freedom is also a huge problem. Having the Second Amendment to own a gun is an amendment that has both good sides and bad sides but most people disagree with it. Having legal owning a gun gives people an idea that it’s dangerous because anyone who has it has access to pieces of equipment that can cause massacres which already happen all around the USA. But that doesn’t mean that everyone who has access to it will do that. People who want to own it do so mainly for their safety for their own and their family. The main reason is that let’s not ban guns completely but have extreme security measure on it and have a brief checkup on the people who wants to own them and especially their mentality. 

These are some of the things I wanted to highlight but I am not 100% sure that I was able to. Which might be the reason I was kinda on a time crunch. There are things I learned from this paper and one of the things that taught me the most is to have the patience to write a brief essay about something. But next time I wanna write about something that interests me personally. Something that interests me more to know which might be immigration or language problems that I faced personally or something that affects my life. But in conclusion, I struggled a lot more than usual in this essay especially when creating the structure of the essay and what to talk about, most especially the claim I have personally and how to back it up. However, I wish to practice more in future writing because it’s a challenge that is not impossible to do but hard. Which needed mostly patience and practice.
